GALLEY FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM ON SHIP
1)Before extinguishing the fire , the blower fan are shut off, flaps closed.
2) Now there is a fusible plug as it breaks due to the fire the wet chemical supperssant extinguisher activates or automatically open.
3)We have a manual button too to activate the system.
4)Once it is activated, the automatic energy source of hot plate is disconnected.
5) The wet chemical gies via pipe to spray noozle with protective cap which is fitted above the hot plate and extinguish it.
6)The heat detectors are installed within the fume hood and are triggered only during fire.
7)At the time of a fire breakout and when the system is triggered , the system is programmed to interrupt the supply of gas and electricity for maximum protection against reignition.
